We are a family of restaurateurs dedicated to hospitality

In 1958, Otello and Lucia opened a small, cosy inn in Marta, overlooking Lake Bolsena. The inn was a place where farmers and fishermen went to relax after their workday with a glass of the local Cannaiola wine and the famous  fried snacks from Lucia together with Otello's fish soup. Over the years, their work and passion transformed the inn into a remarkable lakeside restaurant, the Ristorante da Otello in Marta where fresh fish from the nearby lake is served daily.

In the kitchen, fresh fish is prepared using traditional, delicious recipes that reinterpret classic seafood  cuisine. Otello's seafood soup is served with mussels in steaming shells with fresh fish, while the crispy fried snacks are always a favourite.

 

Hospitality is our vocation. So much so that in 2000 we opened our own hotel featuring seven unique rooms, all lovingly prepared down to the lastdetail.

58 years ater its founding, the Ristorante da Otello is run by the sistersLoretta, Roberta, Serena and Paola together with their tireless parents, Joseph and Rosanna. The family is dedicated to continue running "Restaurant Locanda Da Otello" with the same passion as their grandparents, Otello and Lucia.
